FRENCH CRYSELEPHANTINE ART DECO LADY AND BARZOI SCULPTURE SIGNED M LEDUQC. This sculpture is an original, not a copy or reproduction. FRENCH SPELTER ART DECO DANCER LADY SCULPTURE SIGNED GREGOIRE.

ART DECO COLD PAINTED SPELTER & IVOIRINE SCULPTURE. This figure was cast in Fonte D'Art (high quality spelter). The condition is very good, with some minor scratches in patina. The base is made of onyx plaque and belgian marble. Face and hands are made of ivorine (imitation ivory celluloid or plastic).

Anchors are original without gaps. It is in very good condition with a beautiful patina of age. This sculpture is signed M Leducq (Menneville et Rochard) Menneville was a French artist who produced high quality statues of mainly spelter and ivorine or full spelter. 60cm / 23.6in long, 21cm / 8.3in deep and 28cm / 11in high.

The figures that we offer have almost one hundred years, so it is normal that they can have some damage to the patina, or small flaws in the marble of the bases. Those damages will always be identified both in the written description, as in the photographs accompanying the announcement.

All the pieces that we offer are original art deco pieces. Sometimes it happens that, as in all the great museums and collections, the pieces have been restored. These restorations do not detract from the value of the objects - quite the contrary. Whenever we can detect such restorations, we mention it.
